Senior Snapshot – Kelly

A SNAPSHOP FROM KELLY’S HEART:

“To me, being a senior means I have more of a presence in high school. It means that I have a greater ability now more than ever to make a change.  Whether I change something big or something small,  my contribution will make a difference in someones life and knowing that I helped one person or a million people will mean the world to me.    I am happy when I am spending time with my puppy, Kaycee.  I got Kaycee two years ago, when I was a sopohomore in high school and we have been inseparable ever since.   He is the one “person” I can count on to greet me at the door, no matter what.  He never judges me and is always forgiving of me. I love Kaycee with all my heart and he means the world to me.”

Marcia Rutherford - I LOVE that she took her senior picture with her puppy! That is the cutest thing ever. Beautiful girl and beautiful pictures, Jodi.

“A cause that I believe in is VH1′s “Save the Music Foundation” .     It works towards keeping music education in schools

around the world.   Music is my passion and it has influenced my life in such a positive way that it breaks my heart to know that students  are being deprived of  receiving the joy that I have received through music.  All proceeds go to buy instruments and pay for classes so that schools are financially able to continue music education and better improve the futures of our  generation and generations to come.   My senior year means a lot to me. It means being a good role model for the underclassmen.  It means living life to the fullest, and spending time with the friends who I soon will  never see. It means having fun and working hard to accomplish my goals.   Senior year is a big year, and I believe that it has so much potential. We have one more year with these people we call our classmates.    One more year with these people who we call friends.

Most importantly, we have one more year to spread the love and compassion of God through the halls of our high school.

I cannot wait to see what this year brings, and I don’t plan to miss a minute of it!”

“Being a senior means that you are looked up to by so many others.  It is your responsibility to set a good example for younger classmen and

to give them encouragement. It also represents the beginning of the end of your childhood life and brings you into your young adult life.

Which is why, especially in your senior year, you have to keep your bright future in mind when making decisions.   My dreams for the future,

besides graduating from college and having a family of my own, are to simply bring positivity into other people’s lives and to experience everything that I can.   I want to continue traveling the world and learn and grow in every aspect of my life.”

Sarah Wiggins - These are the most amazing eyes I have ever seen! You and your camera ROCK!!!

Laurie Dugan - These pictures blow me away! I bet her parents flipped when they saw them ….. great job once again Jodi!

Tori

When Tori called me to take her photographs, I had no idea that she was a dancer but when she showed up to the session with her ballet shoes,

my heart was beating with joy!   Photographing a dancer is such fun and Tori’s freedom in the dance and all of her movements filled every frame with beauty.    These pictures are really special to me because I know that creative and artistic people inspire other artists in their work and without a doubt, she definitely inspired me that day!   It was an unforgettable session and I especially loved Tori’s words:   Make Art, Not War.

Kelci - Mrs. Zorzi, i think this is my favorite ever! I love it !

“To me, being a Senior means that this is OUR year. Not our year to be mean to all the grades below us, not our year to control the school.  But OUR year to spread the Love of Christ more than ever before.   This is OUR year to show all the grades below us that you don’t have to be a Senior or older to spread Christianity.  To me, being a senior means this is our last year to have this mission field of our high school,  and because of that, we must be as bold and humble and spread His word more than we ever have before.  This is the class of 2011′s year to show everyone the Love of Jesus Christ, Our Saviour.   I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up, so as far as dreams for my career I don’t know yet.  But the biggest dream I have is to see someone’s life changed by me in a good way.  I want people to feel the love of Christ from me, and although I tend to fail in that, if just one person is changed by the love God puts in me, then my dreams will come true.  And I know they can come true.”
